Range Games

Owing to the semi nomadic lifestyle of the range, easily transportable items like dice are the basis for most games played by the Texan people.  It is almost expected that a rider out on the range would have a set of dice with them, ready for a quick game with whoever they may encounter. 

Included here are a set of rules for a few of the more common games played by Texan Rangers.  Additionally, a facsimile of some of the currency used by these folks when gambling can be downloaded - Comanche coins and Galveston "Salt Dollars" issued on behalf of the Nohl Trading Company.
